Nordic Republicans is an organization that represents registered Republicans in the Nordic region consisting of countries Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.
The organization was launched in July of 2018 by Lauren Ell, an American residing in the far north of Sweden. Ell has been living in Sweden for nearly three years and has an extensive background in studying Sweden throughout most of her life. She is also president and founder of Republican Atheists, GunSafetySociety.org and even Americans Sweden.
The organization currently has board members Katie Hagström, representing Sweden, and Liam Babington, representing Norway. Board members are being sought to represent Denmark, Finland and Iceland.
Primary goal of Nordic Republicans is to provide information on how U.S. citizens over the age of 18 years old can vote while abroad. The organization also shares occasional news updates and political and social networking opportunities.
